Five days in Sydney... it was too short to discover Australia but long enough to make me feel like coming back and stay longer in this country. After two months of countryside life in New Zealand, I was expecting that Sydney would be stressful with all the disadvantages of a megalopole. Yet, I was incredibly surprised at discovering a city endowed with a multitude of huge parks, beaches of turquoise water as good as the caribbeans (without exagerating!), plenty of outdoor activities and a general laid back attitude creating an easy-going and friendly atmosphere among the people... In other words, nothing to do with the image one can have of a big city and definitly a place to settle down.

The name of this place is Rongo, which actually means peace in maori. It's a backpacker hostel, but a very special one. The concept goes beyond accommodation as we are used to...

It seems that somebody took a brush and started to add surrealistic drawings in a nature painting.
